DAF Dealer Award Double for Motus Commercials

Motus Commercials, a part of Motus Group (UK), has won DAF Dealer Awards, for its dealerships in Avonmouth and Halesowen. The two awards were announced at the International DAF Dealer Conference 2023, which took place recently in Barcelona.

The Conference is an opportunity for DAF Dealers to come together and recognise the very best performers, with awards for customer satisfaction, growth, business performance, sales, financial services or parts, and larger awards such as the UK and International Dealer of the Year.

Motus Commercials Halesowen was crowned UK Dealer of the Year, while the South West Region, comprising dealerships in Avonmouth, Gloucester, Frome, Swindon and Hereford won the MD’s Special Recognition Award.

The trophies have now been handed over by DAF Trucks UK representatives to the dealership locations.

John McMenamin, Director of Dealer Development at DAF Trucks UK, presented the Motus Commercials Halesowen DAF team with the UK Dealer of the Year Award, in the presence of Motus Commercials Managing Director, Matt Lawrenson, and Regional Director, Daniel Fitzjohn.

At Motus Commercials Avonmouth, the lead dealership in the company’s South West Region, the MD’s Special Recognition Award was presented by Laurence Drake, Managing Director of DAF Trucks UK.

Matt Lawrenson commented, “It feels great to have won these fantastic awards for our South West DAF dealerships and Halesowen in the West Midlands. Recognition like this means a lot to us at Motus Commercials as it echoes the hard work that goes into delivering first-class service levels to customers day in, day out.

“A special mention also needs to go to Daniel Fitzjohn, who is Regional Director for not only our South West dealerships but also the West Midlands too, which encompasses Halesowen. This success is an incredible tribute to his dedication to the business.”
