Job Role: Inside Sales Representative
Salary: 50,000 - 70,000
Freightalent International are looking to interview Freight Sales Executives for an International Freight & Logistics client.
The Role
- Building up sales pipeline, tracking and managing the complete sales process end to end, from opportunity qualification to closure of new business
- Communicating with in/outbound leads via multiple channels (phone, email and social media)
- Collaborating closely with the members of the inside sales team on finding ways to improve team performance and exceed sales targets
- Reviewing your sales performance to meet or exceed the monetary/volume targets set
- Securing new business to meet or exceed the monetary/volume targets set
- Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations
- Liaising with the Sales Director to solidify sales forecasting for the business on a weekly/monthly basis
The Candidate
- Knowledge of Multimodal Freight movements
- Minimum 5 years sales experience in Ocean, Air or Road freight with a proven track record that can be demonstrated and proven
- A book of business and industry connections
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written
- Able to source sales leads, cold and warm calling
- Happy to be self motivated and aligned
- A team player
- Must have ways of thinking outside of the box to get ahead of the competitors and improve the quality of service to customers
